Can no longer shave my legs! :)

Well I wanted a catchy title! I was getting ready for Church yesterday and decided to shave my legs as I was wearing a dress. I sat down in the tub (I don't have the best balance in the world to stand on one leg and prop the other up to shave) and shaved my left leg fine, but when I had to shave the right leg I couldn't bend down because the baby's head (baby is breach as of now) is in my ribs. In order to shave my right leg I had to press down on the baby's head to push him/her out of the way. Then because our tub is SOOOO small I couldn't get up. Luckily Curtis was there and helped me out of the tub, while he laughed!

This weekend we had great family weekend! It is so nice to have a husband that loves to spend time as a family as much as I do!

It is going to be strange that while Kaleigh and I are in GA, Curtis is back home in CA. We are going to have a great time with the families, some we haven't seen since Thanksgiving, but still it will be strange that Curtis isn't there. I am sure he is going to enjoy the peace and quite at home though! I am hoping Kaleigh doesn't take it too hard that daddy isn't around! I am hoping that with all the other people around she would hardly notice if Curtis and I were not there.

We are all excited about our trip to GA this week! We leave LATE Wednesday night and land Thursday morning! We have found that redeye flights are the best way to travel with Kaleigh and this way Curtis doesn't have to take and extra day off work! The plane ride will be harder on Curtis and I as more than likely we will not get any sleep.

Then Curtis is driving straight to Brain's bachelor party! I think he is going to be exhausted! At least...well I hope...I will be able to nap! Maybe one of the other guys can drive so that Curtis can nap in the car on the way to Blue Ridge! I think they are going to have a blast rafting and then hanging out being guys! Curtis deserves a guys night!! My only demanding for there guys night is NO strippers!!

Oh the third trimester!!

So I think its strange how you hit the third trimester and it's like being in the first trimester all over again!! The only difference is at least at this point you get to feel the joy of when the baby kicks and hiccups! Oh how I LOVE all the movement...makes all the hard parts worth it!

Well I am now 28 weeks and 4 days and I am getting tired really easily, migraines, and no energy! The good thing about having Kaleigh already is she forces me to get up and do things with her all the time! However I am very great ful for the Tuesday and Thursdays mornings she is at school. I was hoping I would get more rest during these times but we have so much going on and that I need to get done!

Here are some new photo's of my BIG belly!! Oh I love my pregnant belly!!!

Funny story Curtis and I were going to see PetterPan for our wedding anniversary and that is why I was dressed up! I thought as I looked nice we would take some belly photos. What I didn't think about was Kaleigh's kisses would leave prints on my white shirt! I had to change right after these photos because my belly had Kaleigh kisses all over it!

Hard to love on Kaleigh

The biggest challenge with being pregnant with a two year old is she just doesn't understand that somethings hurt mommy.
Every night since moving to California Kaleigh and I would lay down on the couch while watching Noddy or some TV show. She would always lay on my tummy, put her head on my chest, and drink her milk. The issue now is that when she tries to lay on my tummy and put her head on my chest it hurts.
It hurts to the point of tears but I know she really wants that closeness! I have found a way to lay down beside her that she seems to be happy with but it is still not the same. Curtis hopes that she would just do it to him but I think its a mommy and Kaleigh thing!
I tell her in a couple months we will be able to do it again...not that she understands.

28 weeks pregnant today!!!

Kaleigh's new friend DUDE!

Today while playing outside Kaleigh and Curtis found a salamander! They were hunting for snails but I think Kaleigh was much happier with her discovery!

Curtis asked if the salamander had a name and Kaleigh said it's name was DUDE! I have no idea where she got DUDE from but it must be from school! It was so cute to hear her say "Hi Dude" while waving like crazy to it. When we let him go she said, "bye Dude" and blew him kisses! She is SOOOO cute!

Mother's Day!

Well I haven't posted in a while...
Lets see our Mother's Day was great!
When Kaleigh wokeup Sunday morning Curtis got up to her and they fixed mommy a VERY yummy breakfast! I told Curtis he could do this every weekend and he laughed. He made waffels, bacon, and two over easy eggs! Just typeing all this out is making me hungry!! Curtis also had Kaleigh make me a special Mother's Day card! They then brough in the yummy breakfast and the card! Curtis is such a great hubby!
After that we got ready and went to church. To my surprise Church was almost empty and it was not even nice weather! At church they talked gave a blessing over all the mothers and every women got a rose as we left the church! When we picked up Kaleigh we were happy that Kaleigh had stayed dry but stilll refuses to use the potty in the nursery!
After Church we stayed home and hungout because it was cold and raining on and off all day! Curtis and I watched Avatar together while Kaleigh napped which was very nice because with Curtis' work hours we haven't had much time together. The rest of the day was about the same, just family time.
We then decided to make crayon soap with Kaleigh. It was fun and I got the idea off of the web but I was super disapointed with the end result. I think we will try again but not the same recipe.

The rest of the week has been very nice too! Curtis has been working the morning shift so he gets off at 2:30!!
Kaleigh went to school yesterday and she is having fun at school. She is still adjusting but I think everything will be just fine!

worn out from a great day

So today Curtis, Naomi, Kaleigh, Lena, and I all went to six flags! We had a great time but man I am tired!

It was Curtis' first time going to six flags and he was very excited! I think he was surprised at just how amazing the park was. We did see the Elephant show again but I loved that show and Kaleigh loved seeing the Elephant! We saw animals we hadn't seen before too!

Oh and I am now in the LAST trimester!! I am still in shock it has gone by soooo fast!!
Kaleigh and I when I am 27 weeks and 2 days pregnant:

The three/four of us! It is so nice having some family photos!

paint??

Well earlier this week Curtis and I went and bought a couple paint samples for the baby's room. We decided for a more gender nuetral room we would stick to the yellows, browns, and greens. After finding some colors to match the bedding we painted the wall with our samples. The Yellow was out, not a big fan of yellow rooms! So our choices were a apple tini green and a toffee crunch brown. We loved them both so thought that we would do both.
Curtis wanted 3 walls brown and 1 wall green. I thought the brown would be a bit too dark so I decided 3 walls green and 1 wall brown. I will freely admit I was VERY wrong! Curtis finished the first coat of paint on the rooms and it looked HORIBLE!

So now poor Curtis is having to repaint the room. The green was just way too much for 3 walls. I should have listened to Curtis in the first place! I will have to say Curtis is mad about having to repaint the walls but he likes being right :)

Now some cute photos of the room! Kaleigh helped with painting the brown wall (that will be repainted green)
